We take pride in making new patients and clients welcome. We take the time to answer questions and explain clearly the objectives, the possibilities, and the recommended plan for achieving each patient’s personal goals.

When you come to Snell Prosthetics & Orthotics for the first time, please bring the following items:

What Happens

DURING YOUR INITIAL VISIT

Form Review

Your New Patient Form (above) is reviewed and Snell will start a patient chart to have a record of your care.

Insurance Submission

You will be asked to provide us with your Insurance, Medicare or Medicaid information so that we can make copies for your chart.

Prosthetic Foot Fitting

Private Patient Evaluation

You will be shown to a private patient room where an evaluation will be made by one of our practitioners. During the evaluation, your practitioner will ask you questions about your occupation, lifestyle, interests, activity level and the goals of your treatment

Measurements

You will be measured for the orthosis or prosthesis, which was prescribed for you. Once this process is complete; you will be scheduled to return for the fitting of your orthosis/prosthesis.
